Delete your Qwickmart account
You can delete your Qwickmart account, and the information linked to it, at any time: in the Qwickmart app, or by asking us. You can delete it once no order of yours is on its way.
In the app
- Open Qwickmart and tap Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what is deleted, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
- If the app asks you to confirm it's you, sign in again with the same mobile number.
Your account is deleted straight away. If an order of yours is still on its way, the app says so and deletes nothing; try again once it is delivered or cancelled.
Without the app
E-mail ajayconnects96@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Qwickmart account" and the mobile number you sign in with, or call +91 70602 64673. We may call that number to confirm the request. We delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your Qwickmart sign-in account with Google Firebase Authentication, which holds your mobile number.
- On the shop's server: your name and the comments you wrote as feedback. Every sign-in of your number on any phone ends, and no more order notifications are sent to your phones. Offers from the shop can still reach a phone that has the app until you turn off Qwickmart's notifications, or only its "Offers and deals" notifications, in the phone's settings.
- When you delete in the app, it also removes from your phone your cart, saved addresses (with the points pinned on the map), wishlist and recent searches.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your past orders, as the shop's sales records: the items and amounts, how you paid, the delivery address with its landmark and pin, the receiver's name and phone number, each step of the order with its time, and any return request with its photos and refund. Your feedback answers stay with the order, without your comment.
- Your mobile number, the date you joined and the history of your sign-ins stay with those orders as the shop's records, marked as deleted. If you sign in again later with the same number, you start a new account that does not show the old orders.
- Sign-in code requests on our sign-in server (your mobile number and network address): deleted automatically after about 3 days.
- Crash reports: kept by Google Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days. They do not include your mobile number, addresses, cart or orders.
- Your theme, language and the character you picked in Account stay on your phone until you uninstall the app.
- The phone's notification token stays on the shop's server, with whether notifications and offers are on (and when they were turned on or off), the app version and the record of which offers were sent to it and opened.
